Land of Jerez
Jerez,
the birthplace of Jerez or in Enlgish “sherry”; a complex esoteric
fortified Andalucian wine with the versatility to go from aperitif to
table wine to after-dinner sipper in its five forms. Jerez is
produced in keeping with the French method of making brandy.
Stay

learn about the production method, taste the difference in the five
classes of Jerez, learn about the food accompaniments and of course

Delve into the wonders of
Spanish pimentón a sophisticated & uniquely
Spanish version of paprika with the smokiness of chipotle peppers.
Christopher Columbus returned to Spain from the New World with red
pimentón peppers. Peppers and
pimentón (a smoky chipotle pepper like
seasoning that comes in three forms) alike quickly became a staple to
Spanish cuisine and an important means to preserving meats.
A discovery of how
pimentón
is made (sweet, bittersweet, spicy) and its uses in food will be the
